Debt happens, if you went to college you expect it and have a plan to deal with it. unfortunately, when you are in the market to buy a home, your debt or credit score can cause major issues. Your credit score and the amount of debt you accumulate will affect the type of loan you are able to get. With poor credit or a large accumulation of debt, getting approved for a loan will be one of the more frustrating areas of the home buy experience. The best advice in this case is to maybe rethink your home goals, you may also need to reevaluate you financial situation. Both of these things will take incredible patience, but will make the home buying experience much more smooth. All good things are worth waiting for, buying a home for the first time, is a great example of this. We all want to stop renting properties and start owning them. However If you rush the home buy process it will come back to hurt you. Keep pushing to save more money, keep pushing to dissolve your debt. It is okay to have hiccups along the way, but keep the end goal in sight. Good things don't just happen, they take time and effort. Worry about what you can control, your attitude and effort, and thing will fall into place.
